Crayola Red carries himself with a lot of class, showing the characteristics of the American Quarter Horse breed very well. He has great lines, with a nice walk, hard working spirit and a sweet disposition. He rides with a one hand neck rein (or direct reins), on a loose rein, has a great back up, and stop. Crayola Red will let you open and close gates from him, He has no problem walking across water, down streams, through the thick brush, over fallen trees, up/down/across deep ditches/ravines, in the woods with absolutely no spook. Crayola Red will stand still while being saddled, unsaddled, and groomed. He stands very well while being clipped, bathed, fly sprayed, and for the vet/farrier. He stands still for mounting (from the ground or a mounting block), and He loads and hauls very well. He is easy to catch, dog/kid friendly, and gets along well with all of our other horses, mares and geldings alike. These horses are becoming harder and harder to locate- he is a great one.
Crayola Red is a joy to ride whether you are a novice or someone looking for a good barrel horse or pleasure horse. He will be good for barrel horse competitions, endurance competitions, ranch sorting, team penning, play days, field dog trials, mounted patrol. He rides the same way every time whether once a week to once a month.
